Im building a 10k pond for $1800 and im 75% finished. I bid way too low and im actually eating cost now but its turning out 110% awesome. Is it to late to renegotiate?

Is it to late to renegotiate? The last picture was how the pond started, this was a remodel. The original scope of work changed after i started to reshape the walls because they were so unstable. I had to backfill the whole pond and start from scratch. This is my first pond and only my 3rd bid ever (but i got “subbed” this work from a guy i know). I know im being a good contractor going above and beyone but i fucked up, i didnt ask for more money! I wnat to say i was just way to occupied with doing a great job i didnt say anything but i did say in the group text with the “gc” and homeowner that the scope of work had changed, as i previously discusedd with the homeowner. I know i fucked up, what can i do if anything? Stopping the project is out of the question this thing is gonna be bad ass wheather i make more money or not. submitted by /u/Greatfuldad47 link comments
